So my new 78 camaro has this ticking sound and I can't find out where the **** its coming from  I know that there is a hole in the headers that my buddy is gonna fix when we have the time, but I just don't know if it can be that or what.
Any and all help is appreciated, this is killing me heh.

a hole in your headers will definitaly make a ticking noise. otherwise ticking noises are usually associated with the valve trane. poorly adjusted rockers, worn pushrods, collapsted lifters etc.

YES! Thank you thank you 4onfloor, thats exactly what I wanted to hear :) Hopefully it really is just the headers and will go away when thats fixed. Thanks again man

You can get a valve job done on older cars for pennies these days.
