Saturn VS. Murcury

Can anyone help me decide which is better a saturn sc1/sc2 or a murcury cougar? whats the the pros and cons of each and which is more reccemended? im loookin around 2000 or new. i noticed that neither one are made anymore what year did they stop? thanx

the SC is alot easier to work on and the SC2 is just as quick as a Cougar V6. The last year for both cars was '02 I believe. The SC was cut because the Ion Quadcoupe replaced it and the Cougar was cut because it wasn't selling well enough to justify offering it. The only good thing about the Cougar is that it has a bigger trunk and back seat and rides more comfortably.

I would drive an SC2 and a cougar and see if you like the extra space and comfort of the cougar enough to put up with it.
