E20 Stereo Error

Can anyone explain to me what is wrong with this?

It is the Monsoon system and cannot not figure out what went wrong with it.

If anyone knows your help is greatly appreciated.

E20 usually indicates a internal focus error problem which has to do with the way the eye views the cd. there is no fix other than sending it off to be remaned or to get an exchange unit. Usuall runs anywhere from 250 to 300. You may be able to find one off ebay just be careful that you don't buy one with the same problem as yours.

ive been thinking about an aftermarket anyways so if im gonna have to pay 250-300 i might as well get something better.

Thats what I did with my Grand Prix when it had the same error. Only thing I missed was the steering wheel radio controls didn't work with the new aftermarket tuner.

Brandon do you know your RPO number for your head unit. I might be able to help you locate a unit for cheaper than going to ebay or god forbid the dealer.

lol....no not at this time but...this guy has a double-DIN JVC Cdplayer for my car and if he does not use it he will give it to me. So im gonna put this project on hold until i can see if im gonna get one free or not.

but also i will look up that number.
