91 Laser not won't run.

I have a 1991 laser 2.0 auto.

I had the trans pulled and fixed by a local shop. When leaving after its 3rd visit to the shop, I smelled a hot electrical oder and the car shut down.

After towing home and doing some diagnostics, the car runs when fuel is squirted in the intake, but not on its own. Also it has fuel pressure at the injector rail. Spark is great and not the problem.

Can anyone help me out??? I know there are some Mitsubishi guru's on this forum, so let me know what you think.

pop off the electrical connector on one of your fuel injectors and see if you have power there while you crank the engine. if you do then the problem is probably clogged injectors since you have fuel pressure. if you dont have any power at the injectors then start looking for loose connectors or burnt wires.
