I own a 1986 BMW 325e and when i bought it the driver side window worked but the passanger side worked very slowly, then stopped working all together. I thought the switch may have went so I swaped it with the driver side and it was fine. How hard would it be to change a window motor in these cars? Also, where is the power window circuit breaker located in this vehicle?

Motor is easy pull you door panel and you will see the motor under neath is 2 screws drop them out and the motor will come right out.
Breaker should be right above the radio selector next to you hazard light switch

I looked and in my car I have the radio speaker balance slider, and the hazard next to that and a blank black switch for the fog light(I'm guessing)but there are no fog lights so the swich is blank. Any place else to look?

E30's have four openings above the radio, you've found the 'balance', hazard switch, the 'rear defog' should be there AND that " blank black switch" should be the 'window breaker', it has a thin red band around the edge, visible when the breaker 'pops'. Pushing it will release and reset it.

ok, I found it, it was that black switch, it just hasn't been pressed for a while so it was a little hard to push the first time. Thanks!
