Replacing Oil Filter

Yea, I Never really changed my old filter on my 95 LS teg before so I was wondering if any 1 knows where is the filter located and what do I need 2 do 2 take it out because it was a difficult time trying to remove it. Thanks, pictures and diagrams would help alot thx...

Get underneath your car and look for something thats probably most likely white or orange, just crank it loose, if it give's you trouble, use a filter wrench, if more trouble take it to someone who knows what they are doing, and just don't change the filter b/c from what you wrote thats what it sounds like your going to do.

It should be above the oil pan. Make sure you drain your oil first, otherwise you might make a mess.

The filter is under the intake manifold. And yeah you'll probably need to get a filter wrench, I just did mine about 2 months ago and it was a pain in the ass to get it off with out one; next time I'm definently using one.

A few more suggestions:
1. buy a decent filter wrench...not the $3 ones at autozone...because they suck and don't help.
2. When you put your next one on, put some oil around the lip or it, on that rubber gasket seal...this will help it come off easier next time. And also only put it on there handtight...don't overtighten or it will leak.

Yea its under the intake manifold. if you go under the car its in line with the left transaxle about 8-10" above it. and yea its a fucking pain in the ass to get off. oh, plan on spilling oil everywhere there is no way not to it drips ALL down your shit
