Type-S Best year

what do you think the best RSX Type-S productions year was?

05 is the best because of the improvements. Its just the guages look like crap:D


If you're american you'll probably want a 2004 as it gets heated mirrors. If you're canadian it doesn't matter, we have always had heated mirrors and seats.

ha, i dont use mirrors anyway, i check my spots, and most of the time I know whats around me anyway so I don't even need to do that.

05 ...the gauges are racing style, zero at the bottom. interior is fuckin awesome, nice and plush. its a bitch magnet what can i say

02-04 has the 0 at the bottom also, however the sunken in look of the new gauges drive me crazy (no pun intended). I really liked the 02-04 ones....and the pattern on the dash I don't like, or the leather door panels (the vinyl was softer:)). However the silver accents and threads look awesome.

I just seen the 05 rsx today and man do i want one. The front end is so much better looking, especially with the projector headlights, but I do miss the back end lights with the half circles on the bottom. I guess they wanted to make it look a little more like the integra it replaced more.

The suspension has been completely re-done too. The whole car is stiffer and an increase in horses for the Type-S model is sweet too. The also lowered the car too. I don't know how much but do check out the acura.com site. It shows everything.

05 have better everything exept the exterior

Projectors? No RSX has ever had projectors or HIDs.

In the end I'd go with performance over looks-so I'd have to say the 05. But they lost me on some of the design changes. Both models are still nicer than most of the cars I see on the road in an average day.

Iunno, the 05 looks are growing on me, I like them.....I just absolutely HATE the pattern on the aluminum dash pieces and the gauges. If they were replaced with 02-04 ones that'd be awesome.

I think I might have to take a trip to the local Acura dealer, and check this out, pictures arent dong it for me.

i saw a 05 i didnt liek the way it look it look to much liek my mom civic but its still look alright but i would have to say 02 to 04 well thats what im gonna get

2. Don't trade in yours
3. Swap dashboards between both
4. Sell your TypeS
