opppsss

ok here it goes i got the carburator back together put it in went to start it it started to go and then quit , so i tried to check to see if it were the starter. its brand new last week so it still could b a problem , but when i touched the 2 terminals together it turned over. i have lights when i turn the key on so i guess the starter switch is bad. how do i replace it or how do i hotwire it for now..thanks
