Hi, all.
This are the symtoms:
Obsolutely no heat from the A/C. Air Conditioning works fine but I have no heat what's soever.
Overheating while the car is sitting on a stop light and running.
Temperature gauge norlmally sits in the middle while normal driving, while sitting it goes all the way up nearly to the red zone.
Things I've checked.
Antifreeze levels - Normal
I just got this car and so far I've done the following.
Change Oil, Transmission Oil, CV-joints.
Everything else looks great, except for the heat.
Let me know, I would really appriciated.

Heatercore. Where would this be?
The cooling Fan seems to be working, I can hear it after I turn off the car. It starts runnning (it's actually kind of loud) after I turn the car off. I think that's normal.
Is there thermostat easy to do. Can I get instructions from anywhere?

Follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the engine....when it connects to the engine is the elbow, the thermostat is inside the elbow. When you go to the auto parts store, before you take it apart, besure to get a gasket and the proper thermostat...hint do not go for the cheapest thermostat. Also remember to drain the radiator...fill it with 50/50 prestone/Water.
You can get a Hayes or Chilton's book from teh bookstore or library....
The heatercore is behind the glove compartment under the dash....
