Ok guys. I realize this Isn't any really serious issue or anything and there are bigger problems in the world, but this still bummed me out. I want to start by saying I am building a motor for my car (the 71 Nova in my sig) I have been building this motor for 4 months and have 3 months of paychecks into the motor. Well today we went to drop the motor in my car finally. We almost had everything in correctly but then started running into one problem after another and we had to pull the motor back out. Now because of clearance issues I am going to have to spend around another 700 dollars on this project that I didnt account for. On top of that I can expect to tack around another month on the project time. I guess whats really getting to me is that I have spent soo much time and money on something I haven't even gotten to enjoy yet. Then getting so close to completion and actually hearing the thing crank for the 1st time, just to have another month-long delay. Ohh well I reckon, I know its not really a "problem" or anything, but the forum is called stress release so I figured Id post here.

just remember man...Patience is a virtue....not only that, but the enjoyment of the projecct, the feeling that you get when you get to go WOT for the first time....that's the payoff right there.

If building a proper Hot Rod was easy, everyone would be doing it.
