possible engine swap

i'm sure this won't work but i'll ask anyway. does anyone think a 3.8L would fit mated to the rendezvous with AWD? or would a 3.8L supercharger fit on the 3.4L?

No, I dont think so. The 3.8L has a different tranny mount pattern than the 2.8 / 3.1 / 3.4L GM variety. Not to say you couldn't do it with some time & $$$ though! :grinyes:

I'd say the main problem with the 3800 with the supercharger would be the width of the engine. It's a 90* engine, whereas the 3400 is a 60* engine. Not to say it's not possible though. Of course, if you do the swap, swap in the HD transmission or you'll toast your diff :)
