does anyone know how to replace a crankshaft position sensor? I don't want to bring it to the dealer because they want an arm an a leg to do anything. Any help would be great!

Found one for the 1994, 3.8. Don't know what year you have. http://autorepair.about.com/library/illustrations/bl454lib.htm

I had to replace the CPS in my 90 SP with a 3.1. Based on what I have heard and my own experience, breaking it is inevitable. Mine broke at about the 1/2 way point and I had to use a Dremel to drill out the rest of it. Tons of fun since it is SO easy to get at anyway. There is a magnet on the end of the sensor, and I just let mine drop into the oil pan. Have not had any problems since and the car runs much better too.
