cracking rims

does anyone else have an accord lowered with some 205/40's if so do you have a problem with cracking rims ?????????

Depends on where you live and how defensive you are when driving. If you tailgate people you will never have enough time to avoid a pothole or other road hazard, which is why when I drive I try to stay at least 2 car lengths back to protect my wheels.

Either that or pump up your air pressures to around 40psi to help protect your wheels better.

i try to stay a fair distance from the car in front of me. i think i may have found my problem though. i put a new spring on the side where i was having the problem with the ride hight and cracking rims and it sits even with the other side now. i put the springs side by side and the one i took off was a quite a bit shorter than the other. it now rides as if it were'nt dropped. other than having the thin tires on there

Thats Because 205/40 Are For Civics, Youre Accord Will Need 215/45 Or If Lowered 215/40.
