It was just a joke. I knew with a title like that evryone would come to check it out and get their hopes up.

I wish we could get it down to 15 years. Twenty five years is a little harsh and steep dont you think. If we all sent in request and persisted with it we could probaly knock ten years off.

Apologies to everyone. It was just a joke. I did not expect this reaction from everyone. I thought the reaction would be "Oh man you really had me going until I read the post". Besides in Canada the law is only 15 years. Dont you think it should be here? Part of the problem would be solved by reducing the number of years a car can be bought into the country wit hout all the hassles. If RIs, and alot of people presented this to the NHTSA with requests they would show it some attention. If the law was only effective fifteen years you could be bringing and driving 89 Skylines in the U.S. right now.
