Please Help Me?

Listen im a young kid of 18 and dont know much about cars but i am planning on purchasing new car i went to the runs the other night and saw a evo 8 beat the crap out of a 1967 mustangall done up. Well enough of that i wanna get an integra and beat that evo 8 now i been reading and saw gsr blow with turbo wat should i get or do i have means of getting auto fairly cheap and i make to much money for a kid my age what can i do to make the evo owner cry lol. please help

Evo's are pretty darn fast stock. I think you would have to put quite a bit of money into your car to get that fast. I'm 20 and I am not sure I would even be able to put a turbo on the car in less than 2 or so years because of the cost of parts, and not to mention the time you would have to invest. I'm lucky to have a few friends that can help me to do most of the work, but if you are unfamiliar with the engine, or system, then it seems to me that it would be dangerous to alter it. Wish I could be more helpful. A stock GSR can run 0-60 in about 7.1-7.4 or so depending on the driver (I have a 1998 GSR, stock cept for NGK plugs and wires, and I can make it to 60 with a proper launch in about 7.3 at best. The best quarter mile I have gotten out of my car is 15.3, which I'm pretty proud of :biggrin: Anyway I'd listen to some of these peeps on the forum, they definatly know more than I do.

I would also suggest a search for just idea's on performance upgrades and costs. Good luck friend

Hmm yea evos run low 13's stock... The easiest way to make the evo owner cry is to kick him in the balls. You would need to invest thousands of dollars to make ur gsr faster than the evo. What about a mitsu VR4? practically same cost as a teg but runs higher 13's stock invest the same amount of money and you'd definitely make him cry
