oka friend of mine had changed out his engine with a b16 GSR,
my question is whats the difference between a b16-GSR, b16-TypeR, and stock
i know it has alot to do with HP
but im just curious

There is no b16 GSR, it's either a b16a or a gsr (b18c).
Stock you have around 106hp.
B16a has 160hp for the US versions and 170hp for the jdm versions.
GSR has 170hp for the US version and 180hp for the JDM version.
The B16b (Civic Type R) has 185hp.

Dont get the b16b! Its way too much! Also its a 1.6 meaning no torque lol! I would definitely get the JDM TYPE R Integra motor (b18c). Its like 200-350 dollar difference over that wacky b16b. IF you goin to turbo a high compression motor then you better have it tuned right away!
