Well after nearly 6 years of having no tickets I go and get two of the fuckers this weekend. So pissed.
The first one was saturday apparently Phoenix has a law that you cannot park on a non-dust free lot. I was trying to sell my truck so I parked it off Scottsdale road and Bell for the day went back to find a ticket for $150.00. They just raised the fine from 50 to 150. There are no (NO Parking) signs there either, you are responsible for knowing the law. Well what the fuck. So no biggie pay the damn fine and at least it does not go on my record right.
Ticket number two. Fucking traffic cameras = bullshit. I was doing the speed limit heading down Bell road on Sunday just out for a cruise no hurry no worries. Well up ahead the light turns yellow I'm doing 45 and about 15 yards from the intersection, yes I could have stopped but I just hit the gas instead the intersection was clear and the light did not turn red until I was about 3/4 way through, then flash. Fucking camera nailed me. So in about 3 or 4 days I should have a pic of the truck and my mug coming in the mail along with one of the worse traffic violations for Arizona (running a redlight). But it wasn't red it should be a yellow light camera.
Anyway for a first time offender you can take a defensive driving class and get the ticket reduced to a non moving violation or something like that. Problem is I'm moving back to Kansas this weekend and will have to spend a plane fare to fly back out here to take the course. Sux man 6 years with no tickets and then I get two in a single weekend.

That sux man. Sometimes you have to find out the hard way in order to learn about certain laws. Which usually end up being complete bullshit.

BTW WTF is that law not to park in a non-dust free lot. I swear that sounds like something they just made up to raise fines. :disappoin
