can anyone tell me if it is possible, on street tiers, to lift the front end of a car in the air off a launch. my buddy claims a guy he nows did it on stock tires in a 90/s stang {not sure what one} i called bs, i susspect they will jsut spin. maybee on a stickey ass drag ratial set but not stock...anythoughts

i dont' think it's possible. you could take both swaybars out, put new control arms/bushings in, drag springs and shocks. but weight transfer alone probably isn't enough to pick the wheels up.

I think I have to wave the bullshit flag on this one. :bs:

yeah my car had the drag springs and shocks and more and even with a better tire theres no way it would have gotten enouf traction to lif the frunt end up. with out a good drag tire

it is possible but of course with major mods. new issue of muscle mustang they advertise 0-178 mph in 7.9 sec on street tires and that guy has the front end off the ground a foot. turbopeople.com i think it is.

The 28x10.5W BF goodrich DRAG RADIALS that big daddy runs that will last you around 3000-3500 miles on the street are infinitely different from a real street radial like a BFG G-force KDW or a kumho ecsta supra. Don't even try and compare the 2.

wow drag radials wear that fast? only 3-3,500 miles on them that sucks
