I was wondering if you could hook up two caps to one amp? If so would 2 2.5 farad caps be the same as a 5 farad? This might be a stupid question but I had to ask.

Why would it be a waste of money to get a capacitor? I put one in my truck and it hits harder than it ever did (which still isn't very hard)

You still didn't answer why it would be a waste of money to get one. Isn't it just like getting a second battery.

it's like getting a very very small and very very expensive battery

So it would be money better spent to maybe just get an optima or deep cycle battery.

Is there a brand besides optima that is as good and maybe a little cheaper. I would prefer a good battery even if it costs a little more.

I've heard good things about the Everstart Maxx batts, but I've never tried them. They aren't deep cycle though

Well I have heard good things about the optima yellow top and everyone seems to agree so why argue. Since sr20 and haibane agree.
