replaceing clutch

Are there any shortcuts that anyone can tell me about in reguards to replaceing the clutch in a 1993 Dakota sport 4x4? Also want to know if the trany and transfor case can be pulled as one unit? Im looking to save as much time and work as possiable. thank you to all in advance.
