Hi!
Can anyone tell me where i can find and how i can replace blower motor resistor?
I have 1992 Ford Taurus LX with automatic climate control. Recently blowing speed control stop working and it always stays on HI.
As I understand, replacing blower motor resistor should fix the problem , but i do not have any idea where it is located.
Thank you.

Resistor should be located in the switch. I don't remember for sure, but may require pulling the dash to get behind ATC panel. I hope you don't take offense to this, but if you have no idea what what you are doing, I would not suggest getting involved in that one. You could be dealing with an air bag and complicated electonics.

the resistor pack is located inthe blower motor housing , above passengers feet , it is held in by two small screws ann can be replaced in about ten minutes. (find one at a wrecking yard) Failure is commonly caused by water ingress-make sure the drains are clear or it will happen again Good luck --Jaycee
