Guess ol' Lex slipped him some kryptonite.
Anyone remember that super bowl commercial he did a few years ago? The one where they made it look like he was walking again? Damn that was creepy.

I remember watching his movies over and over when I was a little kid, hell, I even had superman pajama's that had a removable cape, and as soon as one of his movies came on, I had to immediately run and put them on. Another fine actor.... gone.....

where's this "Maddox" you speak of?

I used to watch Superman in my Superman pajama's too.

It's really sad, as much progress as he's made that the doctors said was impossible, all down the crapper, cause of his heart...

Soooo...he's an asswipe for his opinion? Think about that for a second.

Is it bad that my day wasn't affect whatsoever when I heard this? Or that I don't really care?

yeah i was sad to read about that myself. i read somewhere that people in his condition often suffer heart failure after a few years. he lasted something like 6 or 9 right? i had thought that he may actually walk again too.

OT: maximus where in the hell have you been? we haven't see you in the Max forums in like a year.

Maddox nailed it right on the head (no pun intended). Reeve didn't do anything regarding paralysis before he was paralyzed himself. Good for him that he ended up doing something, but he only did it because he himself ended up a quadraplegic.
I thought this was funny:

On a side note, i have a friend who dated a quadraplegic, until she got dumped by him. How sad is that? You know you're damaged goods when not even a complete cripple wants to date you. :iceslolan

I think it's sad, as it is when anyone passes away.

But I'm not surprised his heart gave out, all that effort would probably have put that much strain on it.....
