New T-Bird

Hey all,
I just got a 92 T-Bird and it has a few problems I would like to solve.
First the door unlock button does not work on the drivers side yet the lock button does work. Does that sound like just a corroded switch? And if it is then would I be able to take it apart and clean it or will I have to replace the whole switch. Also the keyhole light doesn't work on that door either. It's not really that big a deal but I would like everything to work the way it is supposed to.
Now onto the more serious problems. It seems to pull to the right a bit, more so at freeway speeds. There is a sizable dent on the passenger door so it's possible it had a collision on that side. I'm hoping its not a bent axle. I really dont know a lot about cars but based on the symptoms what do you all think might be causing the pulling?
It has a rough idle that bothers me too. It rides somewhere around 600-800 rpms and it jerks up and down every couple of seconds. It has been suggested that I should clean the fuel injectors
Only other thing that doesnt work is the foglights. I haven't found the fusebox yet to check that. Kinda hard to get at when I have to park on the street.
Here are the vehicle specs for reference:
1992 Thunderbird LX (Light Blue)
3.8 V6 OHV 152,600 miles
Front Disk Brakes, Rear Drum Brakes
Power windows, doors, drivers seat
Leather/Cloth Interior (blue)
Non-Standard CD player

If it's possible, take that lock switch out and check it. Clean it off with some steel wool, but make sure that you don't leave any "lint" behind, so it doesn't short on you.
If that doesn't work, go to the junkyard and pull one.

Rotate your tires in case of a radial pull and/or get it aligned. Give it a tune up, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter. Might want to add a can of BG 44K to the gas to clean your fuel system. The door lock light may just be a burned out bulb. The error codes sound like a head unit problem with your climate control.

Thanks for the suggestions. The major tune ups have already been done by the used car dealer. New Air filter, caps, rotor, etc. Not sure on the fuel filter though. It also has new tires but perhaps getting it aligned would be a good idea. I checked the oil and it looks pretty dirty so I will have to get that changed pretty soon. I guess they hadn't got everything done before they sold it to me.
I fixed the lock and the fog lights. Cleaned contacts on the switch and I opened the center console and found the plug had come out of the switch for the fog lights. Two down.

did you ever find your fuse box?

I know where the fuse box is its just hard to get to when I am parked on our busy street. But I fixed the connection to the switch on my fog lights and tested them while I was out today so no need to mess with fuses. The right one wont light up still but at least I know that the switch is good. I still think there was a collision on that side at some point because the right foglight is somewhat pushed upward

The foglights are adjustable. Someone washing it could have pushed it up. Radial pulls can happen at anytime with tires but typically after a couple thousand miles on new tires. Have you looked at what they did for the tune-up or just taking the dealers word for it? Sounds like you've checked it out. Since this is from a dealer, see if they will check/adjust your alignment for you at no charge. Get them to change your oil since it should've been done before you bought the car. I know you bought it "as is" but customer satisfaction is a must.

I bought my t bird "AS IS" also, but within a month, my motor mounts were bad, I was getting transmission shudder, and I needed a tune up... I took my car back and told them how it was, and they replaced my motor mounts, gave me new spark plugs and wires, and flushed and refilled my torque converter/tranny for no charge. The used car manager hated me for getting all that for free, but I made it happen, so I bet you can get an oil change and alignment from them.

They didn't tell me exactly what they did on it. I checked it out and just through observation I saw that the air filter was new and that it had a new rotor cap and wires. I believe they hadn't finished doing all the maintenence when I bought it. It runs good though and the emissions (based on the report they showed me) were quite a bit below average.
I don't think its necessary to take it back to the dealer and have them send it to their shop. They are a very small dealer and I think I got one of the better maintained vehicles they had. There are plenty of places around here that will do free alignment/brake checks anyway.
Are foglight bulbs replaceble or must the whole unit be changed?
This is my first car so I don't know much.

Yes, the bulbs are replaceable. Pull the spark plugs and see what they look like. They may not have been changed.
