There are special tools for this, they are available at most auto parts stores. They look like two horseshoes & the four ends insert into the four holes on the radio. I don't think the stock radio has pre-amp outputs.

Im sorry but bosch is wrong he gave you the instructions to get out a ford radio.. you need four tools they look like chineese stars they have 3 sides its kinda a guessing game on what side to use but as soon as you hear a click its in.. you haveto do this to either 4 or 2 holes depending on the radio but after that it will slide out.. and no that radio doesnt have pre outs usually no stock radios so you will need line out converters either one or 2 depending on how many channels the amp is. 1 for 2 channels. Also you will need a tone generator to locate the wires for you speakers to hook up the converter.. let me know what your doing il guide you through it. [email protected]

Well accualy if you go to any auto parts store you have too look for the tool that is shaped like a hourse shoe, you need two of them an they pull the radio out on both sides, there will be instructions with the tool when you buy it, that is how i had to get mine out an in my car the radio style is the same

Easy on boshmann he is the most knowlegeable guy on here. There are two types of radios the ones with holes and the one with slots. Either way you need to find the correct tool to remove what you have.

If you have the slot type it's easy to get out (as with the knife trick). It's called a European DIN radio tool if you want to go buy the special tool.
