Newbies do your research!!

Man it's so frustrating when every other post is about the same thing...when can we bring in the r34's again, how much does motorex charge, why is their price so high...blah blah blah

there are PLENTY of threads in this forum that can answer your questions, it pisses me off when the same thread can be found maybe 2/3 the way down the page and another has to be created.

Fact of the matter is, there's a thing called search sites...use them. The people who know about skylines here are not here to spoon feed you all, do it on your own and it'll make you feel better as well, trust me i didn't gain all my knowledge by repedetly posting here, i searched for many many hours reading up post threads, and different skyline sites etc...

So ya all in all just try to do your research on your own and dont repeat questions that have been brought up over and over again please, I know im not a moderator or anyone important here but I'm just trying to keep this forum organized and consitant.

Ok so I said the company and I said it was "Driving Impressions" but it was "driven Impressions. Sorry for all of this. They sold the r32 gts type m they had and are getting the rb25 r33 with what they said was over600 hp so pm me if you want their phone number. SORRY for the mistake.

I actually emailed this punk and he claimed that the name of the company is called Driving Impressions.

I did a search through the State of Utah's government website and did not find any such company. I did a US wide search through the Better Business Bureau and found only one company with that name and it was based in Florida. No other information was available.

That doesn't necessarilly mean that the company does not exist, but it does mean that it's not registered with the government.

Also, in talking with this person they made a comment that they are not affiliated with the company and that he wished he could afford a GTR. Now this person is making claims that "I'm getting my Skyline through them".

If it smells like B.S., looks like B.S.... it's more than likely B.S.

Yes proof would be great because no one can legalize any skylines in the states that are manufactured from 1996 and beyond due to OBII issues. This has been stated time and time again by the ONLY company that has been able to legalize up to this date that I know of. This is something the US Government has stated not something some dipshit with a website claims. If they were able to be done I'm sure MotoRex and RBMotoring would be selling them. Considering MotoRex has went through quite a bit of legal battles over this with the Government it is easy to presume mate you are so full of shit it is coming out of your ears.

Proof or I get my stick out. Pretty simple isn't it.

DOT has repeatedly stated that Motorex is the only way to go to get a skyline.

There was a company that claimed they could legalize a Skyline for the this one guy about a year and half ago.

Long story short, the company could not get the car to pass the gov't tests, so he had to bring the car to MotoRex for them to do the work. Not sure if its the same company in Utah, but you never know. I'll post a link.

Your email with MotoRex proves nothing. Others have tried and failed, others have claimed and failed. Right now RBMotoring has the best shot at picking up after MotoRex, but there is one more that has supposedely been quitely going on in the background. I've heard nothing from them in a few months so don't know what the story is but they are out of AZ not Utah.

It's not that we don't want to believe it is just we've seen so much bullshit it isn't funny. So after a few years of it bascially bs'ers wind up getting banned because honestly I don't have the time or energy to play silly buggers.

On a side note, I'm heading for my 4th skyline now. I test drove a gunmetal R32 GTR today but I think something was fucked up with the transmission. It was REALLY hard to shift, even just to move the shifter from side to side. anyway.... untill i get 950000yen..... take it easy. try not to kill each other.

well seeing as this is a site for people to learn more about sky's and not just the noobs. we are all still learning...because if you know everything there is to know about something than its not worth doing.

That and the people who do know stuff like to help out those who don't. There doesn't have to be the kind of animosity that people create needlessly.
