I'm a disgrace

I brought some clear covers for my headlights on my 92RS and man it looked good. That is while it lasted, I was at a red light minding my own business this scrub in GT Mustang pulls out next to me. So we begin to race he dustes me on take off, Then he slows down and we are neck again I took off on him them my engine just fell flat on 90. And I was history, on top on that 50 bucks down the drain my headlight cover came off so what use is the other one that is still on.

So not only did he beat me badly He ran over my headlight cover.Damn what a day I only had them on 1 day.

I'm sorry to say this but this might have not just been bad luck. The Camaro gods might have been looking down on your ricery clear cover's in disgust and cursed you but sorry to hear about a mustang claiming another innocent camaro

sorry to hear about you losin man, especially to a stang. I had headlight covers on my car too when i first bought it and they looked awesome up until one flew off and the same thing that happened to you happened to me :p i guess headlight covers are just not meant for the camaro's, love my clear taillights though no matter what anyone else said about em :p

sorry to hear that, what kind of mudstain was it? this weekend i played with this 98 gt mudstain, i pulled up next to him and said what's up light turned red and i whooped him easy, then at the next light i told him i would give him a headstart and his passenger started laughing at the his buddy and i gave him a headstart and i took him again, well i'll dedicate this kill for you

Mustangs are like honda's now days. If some one actually had a 71 mach 1 stang with a 302 boss engine..dayung..I hate to say it but it would offer some serious comp.

yeah most stangs aren't shit, but there are some out there, i got my ass whopped really bad once, but i found out the guy had about 475rwhp in his gt, after the race the guy pulled over and we started talking about his car

The only mustaing I have lost to (with my completely stock, low h.p. cross fire), was a lil 5.slow, that wasn't so slow. He had like 4 ppl in there with him to, but he also had some huge tires on the back end, an exhaust that screamed "I'M NOT STOCK ANYTHING", and had a stick. I expected him to beat me, but I'm not about to turn down a race to anything. My favorite is racing a surpa that didn't have anything on me till i got my whole car ahead of him, his stopped spinning his wheels, and his turbo(s ?) kicked in. I just laughed that he spent so much money to beat me.

Lol for real...i've seen about a hundred cavaliers today just kinda walking around....and about 2 hundred mustangs...but a friend of mine skunked both a cavi and a stang with his.......ready for this......his 4 banger V-dub. =D lmao

You know what would be worse is being dusted by a pontiac sunfire automatic XD. At least civics and what not can get hella mods but if you get beat by a sunfire auto - Just give it up. Shoot yourself o.o

There are a lot of mustang in the U.S. especially in my town a lot of fake cobras i have smoked some mustangs in my 98 camaro V6

yeah i never feared a mustang even when i had a 305tbi in my camaro if i lost i lost but i was not going to back out of a race, two weeks ago that fucken v12 mercedes wanted to race and i did, let's just say i got smoked, but no one who owns a camaro should ever fear a mustang

I lost to a 350Z o.O..hella dusted me but it didn't seem to have that great of a 0-25 mph start area as it was nose to nose. FOr being twin turbo it's not that badass.

if u r talkin about the new 350Z, i dont think they have twin turbos... but they r hella fast, i've been waiting to race one

yeah i've taken those 350z they aint shit, but i've never raced a twin turbo 350z, i doubt the twin turbo setup is stock

Are you guys mad or driving 500+ HP cars?? A TT 350Z would be crazy - and ya those cars are no pushovers, especially when you race them already at speed and into turns. Its only off the line where they're a bit weak, but on the freeways those thing pull. I played chase with a ragtop 350Z several weeks ago, dicking each other around at the speed limit then taking off, flying into and passing each other into turns (some turns I had to ease up cause the rear end was hopping under WOT). It was only after like 10 km that we finally lined up all alone at a light where I could show him a definitive advantage. I guess we both knew it was the last thing to be done (and expected the same outcome), but I gave him props cause once that car gets moving it can surprise you.

:disappoin Im sorry man but if i got beat by a sunfire,or a weak mustang i would shoot my car. But don't get me wrong some mustands are pretty hot ,I know because i own 1 that is but it's not shit to my camro,and i stomp stangs on a regular basis. AND I LOVE IT!!!! :evillol:

From what I understand 350Z's are horrible in handling for cornering. I have taken the lead on some 2 lane roads with FWD vehicles in my camaro , I don't know what it is but it seems to turn way better than it should. The 350Z had just god awful ratings for it's high speed turns so if you get one and go tokyo street with it , theres a chance of winning that way , cutting in and out of traffic , going around tight corners. hell , I've hit a almost 90degree corner in my camaro doing 80 and didnit lose a spec of traction. Might be the weight ? I dunno. But they guy I went head to head with definently had turbo , I heard that crap cus at 25 mph it was like "WOOOOSH" in my face heh.

Are you guys getting the older twin turbo 300zxs confused with the new non twin turbo 350z?

Who the hell would confuse something like that ? Anyone should be able to tell the difference between a 300Z and a fair lady Z.

My first car was a 76 300z and it had a straiht six and that shit haulled ass, i was able to beat alot of cars, i would love beating bmw's in that thing until my stepdad borrowed and crashed it
