I have a 1999 Camaro Z28 that has an INTERMITTENT NO start problem. The engine cranks and the battery is new. The engine just cranks and starts occationaly like there was no problem. The car runs great once it is started although it can take 15 min to start it. Any Ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Could be something with the VATS, make sure the pellet on your key is clean...

Doesnt sound like VATS.. If thats malfunctioning the car usually wont crank..
fuel delivery problem? when you turn the key to ignition do you hear your fuel pump turn on? wait til it shuts off than try start the car.. see if that helps any

How many miles does it have?
Could be fuel pump, as DaMoNe6969 suggested. If it's been a while since you've changed the fuel filter, might as well do that. When turning the key to the "on" position you should hear the fuel pump turn on for a couple seconds.
A few other things..
How's the starter sound? I had to very recently replace my starter, had an intermittent starting problem. If it whines or doesn't crank the engine at all, may need to be replaced. (Most of the auto shops can diagnose starters).
Does the car start easily when warm?

look into your fuel pressure regulator as well.

I have the same problem with my '96. just started. It seems to happen warm. Starter is good. I can hear the fuel pump run. Must be filter. I need to fix it as I have to sell. :(
