little black dots......

why are there little black dots on some of the envelopes on the list of topics?

just wondering....

When you're on a page that's a list of threads, the far left column is a bunch of envelopes:
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/newfolder.gif Yellow open envelopes are threads with new posts since the last time you viewed them.
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/newhotfolder.gif Red open envelopes are threads with new posts since the last time you viewed them that have over 15(?) replies.
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/folder.gif Blue closed envelopes are threads you've read since the last post was made.
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/hotfolder.gif Blue closed envelopes with little lines at the top are threads that have over 15 replies and that you've read since the last post was made.

but seriously, did anyone even know there was a F.A.Q?

I have read it,but there are a wealth of interesting features on AF that aren't frequently asked questions.Big ups to Igor for creating such a loaded site, but like the T.V. remote,there are buttons that never seem to get enough use...FAQ falls into this category...How many times have you seen the basic questions posted up as a thread?!:)

I just held my mouse over the picture in question and usualy an onmouseover popped up and answered my question :)
