96 squirley steering

my 96 burb has alittle bit of squirley steering, a little lose. i got brand new michelin LTX-MS tires on it.
will a steering stabilizer help?
do these trucks have oem mounts for these?

I had the same tires and hated them! They seem to have a soft sidewalls which lets them roll over too much. I went back to Goodyear Wrangler TD and it drove nice again.
Also check your idler arm they go bad about every 30k miles , your truck steering wheel seems to have a center that can go from 10o'clock to 2o'clock without changing the direction of the vehicle. I had 3 of these changed under warranty (extended GMPP to 100k miles) and I just put an aftermarket one on and it has a grease fitting where the factory one doesn't....go figure.
