Hello all, Im having a problem with my Ford Crown Victoria 1998. I did something that made the passanger air conditioning not to blow air. The floor and top part(window) blows fine. I was playing under the steering wheel and there were some wires/tubes. I was hooking up the car with some neons for my son because his birthday is coming up and he would be driving this car on and off. He is a teenager and likes neons so i thought i would suprise him with some. Well, anyways i dont know if i pulled a wire or broke a tube on the steering wheel, near the pedals. Please help, the last thing i want to do is go to the dealer and get it checked because of my expenses. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you just accidentally unplugged a vacuum tube that controls the vents.
All I can suggest is to take a look around and see if anything is out of place.

Well, i looked around real quick cause i was short on time. I found this thin small black tube that was like cut/pulled or something. When i touch it feels like light air is going in, put the force is so little that i dont know how that can affect the passanger a/c. Well i guess its possible help me out please if it is this what can i do? Thanks in advance.

That tube most likely is the vacuum source for the "motor" that changes the air direction or location.... which is what is causing your problem.
You need to look around and see if you can find something that it might fit on (or in). The other part should be very close to where the tube is now, maybe above or forward some, but close.

Ok, well i checked the car. There is a small black tube that leads to no where and sucks in air. Its pretty small. Its next to a larger tube (yellow one) not much bigger but it is bigger than the black one. If it helps im planning to take a picture of it and post it on the forums to get you guys more detail. Its raining and going to rain for a few days once it becomes nice ill go out and take a picture with digital camera. Thanks again.
