HI
I have a Tacoma 2001 model, 3400 V6; engine 5VZFE. We used a scan tool on it, and error code P1135 came up . This means Air-Fuel sensor heater circuit Response. Can u help me solve the problem???
The vehicle had a supercharger but it was removed. The previous owner said that a cap/cover for a hose is missing, but I cannot verify that since I don’t know which hose he is referring to.
Pls help!!
I am at [email protected] or you can call collect on 758 715 3193.
thanks

Check the resistance of the A/F ratio sensor heater (Bank 1, Sensor 1). Disconnect the electical connector to the sensor and measure resistance between contacts +B and HT (the pair nearest the clip). Resistance should be 0.8 - 1.4 ohms at room temperature and 1.8 - 3.2 ohms hot. Replace the sensor if the resistance is not as specified (14 ft-lbs).
