BRAKE light in dashboard is ON

The BRAKE light in the dashboard of my 1998 Odyssey stays ON for about 10 minutes in the morning. Any ideas why this is so and how I can correct the situation?

there could be a couple things wrong, either your E brake is on slightly, or your brake fluid level in your master cylinder is low, or you have a brake light bulb out..... check those three first they are the easiest to fix
