gas mileage

I have a 1.1 12A. I have gotten about 219 miles on 80% of a full tank. I have a new Dist cap, rotor and put in Denso plugs. Is this regular gas mileage for the rotary? Also in idle it seems to miss . Any Suggestions to increase mileage?

thats better millage than i get i get about 15 miles per gallon.

to get better mpg, change the final drive for a wider ratio, get bigger wheels

RX-7's are a high reving engine...To get it to run strong you drive it high in the RPM range...
To improve mileage...Shift earlier, get off the gas earlier when you know your going to be stopping or slowing down...Keep the tires properly inflauted and the car well in tune...
Enjoy the car for what it is and isn't...Its no economy car...But a super fun to drive true sports car!
