cluster change

Hey again.
This is probably a stupid question but it's eating away at me and I need to get more opinions.
I have been told by a couple mechanics that this is not worthwhile but is it possible (and not too hard) to swap a digital cluster out of a 1989 z24 and put in the analog one? Some ask me why I would want to do that and it is because I do not like the digital cluster and it's not really reliable, especially for the gas reading, I'm sure some of you fellow z24 owners with digital clusters would probably agree. I'm going to be getting a parts car with the analoge cluster so I don't mind ripping all the parts out that I need to do it, like the computer and so on. But is there more to do other than wire harness and computer that would make this not worthwhile? thanks for looking.
