i bought a 70 goat(for a good price!)that a guy was cherrying out. he rebuilt the whole front suspension, new a-arms, shocks, everything else and of course, coil springs. he didn't notice till after it was finished and he set it down that the front end was slightly lower than it should be. he got new coil springs one coil less than stock spring heigth! i've never worked on a suspension system before. is there anyway around taking all the ball joint attachments and everything else apart so i can put in correct size coil springs or is there another safe way to raise the heigth?
thanks, Jim

Any way you attack it, the bal joints will have to come loose. Be very careful when compressing the springs. They store a bunch of energy, and can be a searious hazard when "loaded".
You may be able to install spring spacers under the coils in there, but the right way to fix it is to get the right springs.
