If this guy is a legitimate business man, he has nothing to hide and would appreciate the potential business that I could bring him. Seeing how I work at a car dealership in Japan and all I get people asking me almost every day how to bring their JDM hotrods back to the states.

99.99% of every single damn post ever made about some new person and/or company bringing Skylines to the U.S. has been pure B.S. on AF and other Forums.

Working with GT-R's on a daily basis I also hear complete B.S. on a regular basis. Not to mention people's ridiculous theories on how to "scam" the system or shortcuts. So if I come across as just a little sceptical with a side order of callousness you can bite me.

I would LOVE to see a cheaper alternative to get my GT-R back to the states as well as other cars. I would sell a TON more high-end cars if that were the case. But the fact is that most people are just full of hot air when it comes down to doing business and that's just the way things are. But hey, if you want to just put full stock in everything you hear... go right ahead. I'm the last person to tell anyone how to think.

All I really would like to see is a voided copy of his Registration and proof of insurance. As well as a photo of the Chassis Serial Number on the vehicle so I can match them up. If that turns out to be legit, then I would be VERY interested in talking with this man about a TON of stuff.

It pisses me off when I see these huge subarbans and other huge vehicles giving off so much polution and barely passing saftey regs. Well sat im gonna photo some stuff. The thing is hes been here for years and no one has ever complained of any problems. He is a really nice guy and loves his cars. The other thing is if the car was illegal it wouldnt have any sponsors. His car is PLASTRD with tons & tons of sponsors. sooo many there not just for show. if you want an RHD evo 8, buy a US evo 8 and then order the JDM dash and have a shop do the rest.

There WAS an r33 for sale at Auto Gallery Seattle.....but when I talked to an agent he said that it was most likley being bought for some kid by his parents (rich parents dont know what theyre getting into.... :screwy:). he told me all about the guy and how he just got his lisence blah blah present for his 16th birthday blah blah and tha they were faxing the mothers credit reports over that same day. week later it was gone :/.

I am serious about getting a skyline that needs work I can get a engine and transmission for one which is what I want to do.

you have no clue how bad that car would drive if it ever got put together. Skyline bodies are like glass. one hit and you're fucked. i've gone thru 2 now. I had a friend that was drifting and he went over a 6" curb and totaled his shit because the body bent. Don't waste your time on a project like that just because it's a skyline. get an RB26 and drop it in something, it's a lot easier to do, it will drive better, be somewhat legal and cheaper.

1. Ripoff of the "R" from GT-R emblem.
2. Ripoff of the MotoRex name from the one in Cali.
3. Ripoff of "Fast and Furious" (Universal Pictures own the rights on that phrase BTW.)

the only way they couldve even possibly been able to legalize skyline is that if they somehow using the similarity of the name, piggybacked onto motorex's developments to the government...posing as an east coast broker or something of that nature. not only would that have been extremly difficult, but extremly illegal. and it seems as though they might have tried it seeing as how they made the names so similar not only in how you say it, spell it, but how you see it as well. MotoRex and MotoRx could easily be mistaken by some sleepy DOT agent or something. eh. either way, they cant do it so i dont know why people bother with this kind of crap.
