here is my finished R-M '59 Vette. Turned out fairly well. I removed some of the chrome for a cleaner look.

Smooth!! I like the wheel/tire combo and the engine detail. How did it look without the flame decal?
Makes me want to pick this kit up!

Nice!!! But I would consider that "excellent", and not "fairly well"! :) Very nice finish! What did you use?
I wish they would make those wheels available seperately. They are probably about the best I`ve seen RMX produce, and I have more than a few projects they would look great on.

Thanks guy's!
The finish is Tamiya ts 14 black, several coats.and polished and waxed. I said fairly well because I was unhappy with the thick windshield glass, and the chrome plating was scratched in spots. It was difficult to get the body seated on the chassis properly, and it still not 100% correct. Other than those problems, I would recommend the kit.

My friends wheels from this kit have gone from his Corvette to my Superbird, to test fitters for about 2 other models and now the chrome is starting to come off so I am putting them on my 1968 Firebird, crazy!
Anyway, very sweet Vette man, classic colours with a classic body really do make them look like classics.

Looks very good! I see you had the same problem with the hood/ bonnet as I did. I doesn't want to sit properly as shown in the first pic. That's the only problem I had with this kit.

Looks sweet.
What did you use for the fuel line at least I think it's the fuel line or brake line (the metal line shown in the engine detail that goes under the air filter)? I need to make 8 for my 55' 300SLR and am trying some .15 metal rod but it is difficult to bend smoothly.
