what exactly do they do when they dyno your bike?

hrmm, a 'dyno' (or dynamometer) is basically a treadmill for your car/bike, where they can test kilowatts and horsepower from either the wheel, or the crankshaft, usually setting up a big fan in front of the bike/car to simulate what would be happening if your bike wasnt on 'rollers' and you were out on the road..
alot of shops will also 'dyno tune', where they carry out this, then tune the vehicle to the best they can, instead of going for a drive, pulling over, fiddling with this and that, etc...
