Large FMIC: Can I paint a logo on the front?

Ok, I dont think its fair for this to be called a ricer question, because I want to show off a little. and i have a turbo :flipa: hehehhehe.

I have a GReddy 24r on its way. I have always liked SPearco FMICs and others, with big, bold font printed on the front. GReddy comes unriced. If I were to put a logo on there, which is the safest stuff to use? Should I avoid spray painting it on? Would the paint "mess" things up in the fins etc? Or how?

Anything you put on the FMIC will hinder heat transfer, so try to keep the paint just to the first couple fins and the front of the tubes, dont spray it all the way in there. :)

My turbo is bigger than all of yours, but what does it have to do with the thread? ;)

ok thanks guys! One more thing...this 24r is used and pretty dirty (but for $575 with piping, i dont giVasheat)...im not supposed to wash it though...right? That would mess things up, no matter how much it dried right? Like some things such as air filter and piping you can wash etc, but ive never thought about the core that way before...so just clean with rag, or wash out?

Wash the outside however you want. For the inside pour in a cup or two of gasoline and swish that shit around. When it comes out clear its clean.
