Splitted tail pipes

Hi, i wonder where i can get splitted tail pipes to my cherokee 4.0l in6 from 1998? can anybody help me???

why would you want split pipes for a 4.0L?

Why is everyone so negative on this forum? Don't question other peoples motives, just offer help and positive ideas if you have them... I would recomend going to a custom exhaust specialist and having them made for your jeep. I used a Flowmaster single in, dual out muffler and had 2.5" exhaust run into it, then run out of the muffler in 2 pipes, up over the axle and out either side of the gas tank. (don't remember if the pipes go over the axle on the same side, or cross over first then go over the axle) Good luck, Chad

So what did you read into his question that you attribute to being negative? Seems like you're the one giving orders and dictating behavior.

The split pipes sound good. I have thought the same idea myself, it would look good. But I would have to go with at least 2.5" tail pipes, should maintian good flow and backpressure. (2" is stock)

I know I'm new here but I feel obligated to give my 2 cents . If you want to improve flow, replace the flange conecting the header to the down pipe. The UAW assebly workers cant get there fat fingers in there to put the bolts on the exhaust, so Jeep Truck Engineering let them take a sledgehammer to it. Hence=flow restriction! I don't think all Jeeps have crushed pipes, but that's the way my 97' WAS, you may want to look at yours. I also installed a 1 to 2 but I used a DynoMax and ran it strate back and over the axel (pre bent parts helped). It was too loud for my taste, so I reinstaled a new (factory) cat, and that seemed to melow it out.

The dent in the pipe is there to allow the pipes clearance from the moving axle... Later years such as mine,00-01 used crappy low-pinion dana 30 front axle to solve the clearance problem. I had the flowmaster on my 95'... i also got tired of it being so loud... so i bought another jeep. I bought a 2000 Limited, heres a list of most of my mods... sheesh was it expensive, but it made a difference.

The banks muffler, hi-flo cat, and banks header sound BALLS with my whole intake setup...I am se extremem,ly satisfied with the sound throughout the whole rpm range... Not too loud, but loud enough to be heard.(my flowmaster series 40 delta-flow had horrible droning noise on the highway, this one(Banks Monster Muffler) is almost silent on the highway, and only loudly authoritative when i want it to be)

WOAH.... what snorkle setup did they use? It's on thew passenger side? Do you ahve a picture of that side of the jeep? My friend wants a snorkel on his ZJ, but I told him to hold on because I want to do dual snorkels because it's a 5.9...it would be nice to know what snorkel it is, and hopefully it's not the wrangler one that comes way down on the quarter panel.... --Chad--

no its a hand made job
the only arb part is the cap
It actually enters the cowl from the top and runs toward the driver side exits in the center of the firewall to avoid interfering with the wipers
there are left hand kits available for fender mount i believe
probably modify one of those
