your torque converter is located between the transmission and the engine. the torque converter connects the transmission and the crankshaft. i wish i knew more to help you with the torque steer prob though. sorry

actually you can get torque steer but you normally dont get it in slower cars. Some things that can help or eliminate it are a wheel hop bar. Just in case you dont know what it is its a bar that goes across the front of your engine bay and has 2 arms (if its good hydrolic arms) that connect to the side of the engine bay. Now that will help with wheel hop, wheel spin and torque steer. The best way is an lsd, you can be cheap and go with a phantom grip or you can go with the real shit like cusco, kaaz, spoon...etc. Its up to you but the lsd will make both wheels spin with the equal power giving you a faster take off less to no torque steer and better traction. Also check your alignment, camber things like that. Last but not least to gsr 916 torque steer is when your accelerating and your steering wheel jerks to the side real quick. If youve had it happen and your going fast it scares the shit out of you, everyone whos had it happen you know what i mean.

maybe i read "gismo" wrong, but i think he was saying his torque steer had to do with his torque converter? If so, no, your torque converter what does the job of a clutch in a automatic transmission. really has nothin to do with torque steer
