odometer ?

hi e1, i have a 95 gt conv,and the odometer has given the incorrect mileage twice now does anyone know if its a loose cable or somthing sometimes its barley registering the miles i'll get a reading of 19miles when i've gone 100. thanking you in advance randy

That could be the cable, easy to fix, just buy another one and swap them.
