looking for a 77-81 caprice

i would like a 77-81 caprice. im not too fussy with what im looking for. i would like to find one in either the Connecticut area or in North Carolina.

They're out there - honest.
Also, if you like the 80, you'll like the 81, 82, 83, and 84. They are essentially identical.
The 85 had a different dash (brushed aluminum), but the exterior was identical.
Grille, headlights, and header panel changed a little (but not much).
Cost wise, it's no longer a matter of depreciation, it's a matter of mileage/condition maintenance.

im interested in 80 or older because of emissions. i find plenty here in NC but they all have flake paint jobs and 22's on them and a very high price tag.

I have a 78 caprice 2 door fastback. Apparently the person I bought it from says that there are only 2000 of these made from that year. I dont know if he's right or just a liar...but I paid 500 for it...with 70000 miles...and just about everything in perfect condition except the interior/body. She runs like she's brand new. Just keep looking youll find one you fall in love with...they are out there....
