Problems starting CRX.... need help

Ok, I just bought this nice black 1990 CRX SiR and had it running well and starting on command. Then one day it wouldn't start, and a fuse blew. I replaced the fuse and got another battery thinking that was the problem. Now when I try to start it the starter will fire repeatedley yet the engine wont initiate fully. It repeatedley makes the noise that every car makes right before it turns on and then it stops when i stop trying... i think there is a problem with the fuel and how its not getting to the engine or something......but it was just working. And there is an alarm system which i unhooked......but when it was hooked in it kept sounding the alarm when i was trying to start it, i was wondering if the alarm was restricting it from giving the engine fuel....or if it is just a simple wiring flaw.....
