Model year for parts

Hi all.

I recently brought my 87 Blazer Tahoe back from the dead and got the bug to do a major rebuild. The 2.8 is in serious trouble. The body has holes in the usual areas, but is overall solid and the 4wd, transmission and suspension is in very good condition.

I am thinking about buying a parts vehicle and was curious if anyone here can tell me what years will be compatable parts wise.

well mine is a 91 and i put an 89s fenders to a 94s grille to a 92 bumper to an 89 hood to the 91 body so that should tell you can just about do any year as long is it the same lookin goto a junkyard and look around

82-93 will all bolt up, BUT somethings like grilles might need extra parts.

best bet for a 2.8 is find a 90's pickup with the 2.8 and transplant the engine and EFI system

well the grille just has this wierd has wing nut type thing you have to slide over of the 4 screws in the front only 3 went in so i have to drill a hole but for chrome it is nice

I am really looking forward to bringing this thing back from the dead.
I bought it with 52 miles on it, so I have obviously had it for a long time, though I parked it behind my garage over 3 years ago.

Any resources for parts, new or used wouls also be appreciated.
