Clio creaking sunroof

My car suffers from the infamous creaking sunroof problem on clios. I have found a fix, it may work for others too. My sunroof is manual. The lever that raises the sunroof has a metal centre tongue that sticks up and presses on a flat bit of metal on the sunroof glass frame, probably to ensure the sunro :banghead: of doesnt clamp shut too far. I slid a piece of thick card inbetween the two and closed the roof. Heypresto - no more creaking. so a permenant fix would be a sticky pad stuck in the right place just to stop the metal-on-metal contact of that tongue.
