Drum & bass 0wnz. One of my favourites is an NZ act called Shapeshifter that has a live drummer instead of a drum machihne, and use other live instruments as well :D There's a UK act that does the same thing, but I can't remember their name.

Yeah. Look at the Pendulum boys. They're makin quite a name for the Perth scene. I personally LOVE dnb. its all i listen to. By chance, i heard another kid mention Dillinja in auto shop in like the 2nd week of school, so now when we're workin on a car together, we listen to DnB in the car next to us, as long as its the schools car and not a customers car. The rest of the class always gives us shit about the repetivity, but if u listen to hip hop, the onl thing that changes are lyrics. I can write a good hip hop track in 20 minutes, and then line up an MC and have the whole track done in a week... DnB...whole other story.

get over yourselves people! just because you like a certain type of music does not automatically make it the ONLY good type of music in the world.

with that said, i like drum n bass because i am an avid beat-boxer. i'm actually pretty good at doing d-n-b beatbox beats. i've been doing it for a few years now so i've gotten to the point where i can move my mouth as fast as some of these songs, which is pretty damn fast.

i need to get a damn microphone so i can record some stuff.

One of the best gigs I went to was Paradigm, Shapeshifter (as the headline act..live DnB rules!) and Concord Dawn finishing up spinning some of their records...

We went in at 11, and came out at 5:20 when the sun was up because we couldn't stand up anymore.
