Got stuck at home for a few hours today...makes me realise just how much I need my wheels! I live about 10 miles from the nearest one horse town, for anything important the city is 25 miles away.
So what about you...are you urban or rural?:)

i don't think i could ever live in the country, it would be way too much of culture shock!
I'm too used to having everything close by..... i have 3 mall/plazas within 5-10 min. walking distance
I live in the suburbs of a city
it would be so weird not having like a 100 houses around me.... especially if i couldn't drive, you can't walk to your friends house or anything like that

While I live just outside of town its virtually rural. We are the definition of a "small town" a whole 6,000 residents (except a few months in the summer when we'll get 12000 tourists moving in)

Im in a rural town a bit like Yogs. But smaller, and no tourists.
About 4,000 people.
The best thing is the city is only 40mins away, and Urban life, (i.e. shopping malls) is only 20mins away.

I'm suburban, with very high tolerances for urban. I like rural, but wouldn't want to live there. :)

My home is rural....the standing joke was that there were more cows in the valley then people...of course all the stupid city people are coming out to live in the country....whatever...my school is in a bigger town and it seems huge although i hear all the time how small it is to other people....its all good though...i love rural.... :)

I have always lived in towns, though now I am more towards city then town.
Back in the States I was only 5 mins from nature and believe me I used to spend quite a bit of time getting to know her :) I miss that dearly but if you want to make a decent living I guess that is the price you pay for convienece also.

I consider my place town, but the fact that I have a small paddock with goats and geese, most people would call that rural.

pretty close to the middle of Phoenix......... but my family owns a ranch about a 20 min drive north of mexico, so, i have 180 acres of play space for my toys (used to have a VW Baja Bug.... but sold it to pay tuition... stupid school) now i just have quads, ahhhh!!!! sold the dirtbike too..... ick....
i think that there are about 2 million people that live here, plus tourists... lost of pollution

Im probably the most Urban u can possible get, i live in the Great NYC, dont get me wrong i do like to go out into the country and leaving the city for a week or two is cool but i dont think i could survive living in the sticks. I go stir crazy when im away from a major city for too long. i think i could one day leave nyc but i will definitly always have to live in some city
