corners of the dashboard is common, as is down in the footwell (fibreglass/mdf housing).

i've always wanted to see someone put a gauge pod on their a-pillars and mount tweeters in them (multi on the driver, single-pod on the passanger)... if done right it would have mondo imaging, and look rather good.

try it, and let me know! that way, if it's a pain in the ass or looks like crap, i won't have to mangle my car trying it :evillol:

Thanks for the ideas...I doubt I will put them on the pillars...do want to make my car look changed. I liekthe stock look with things hidden. YOu said in the corner of the dashboard? ABout where...I went to look at mine and i do not have any space big enough to hole a 2" tweeter wihtout it looking like crap and cramped

the easiest thing to do is to get a couple of the small 1 1/4" surface-mount tweeters, and put them right up where the glass meets the dash. it's not too obvious there, and it doesn't look bad if you hide the wiring. if you're trying to flush-mount a 2" tweeter in the dash... hmm... cut the hole, and get small speaker grills to put over them, perhaps.

i've seen where people have hidden them in the defogging vents that are on a lot of dashes- that' seems to work well too.

well on an a 90 accord the dash is not fully flat there is a lip on the edge by teh window that is about 1 inchthen drops about 1/2 inch...so it would not look nice...

hmm. i'm not sure.

what you might want to do is find a local car stereo shop- not a chain like Best Buy etc, but a local place, and see if they can give you any ideas. it's worth a try.
