92 Cougar Light Problem

I'm having a problem with the lights on my car. It's a 92 Mercury Cougar. The blinkers don't work at all, not outside of the car or on the light cluster inside. The brake lights only come on sometimes, and it's not that common. If I sit in the car and press the brake quickly ten times, the lights probably come on about once. Also the reverse lights don't work at all. The reverse lights and blinker should be the same fuse and I already checked the fuse and it's fine. So I'm stuck from here. I'd appreciate any help with this. I'm assuming the problem isn't that big but I'm not really sure where to start. Thank you in advance for any help you have to offer.

Your blinkers could be the blinker switch, relay whatever you prefer to call it, you might have a brake switch sticking its over the brake peddle I belive. You can unhook it put a multi meter on it and check the resistance(ohms) on it with it closed and open to see if its working. Have you checked the reverse lights light to see if its blown or even hooked up?
